01 About RahaTask

RahaTask ("we", "our", "us") is a cloud-based workspace management platform that helps teams plan, track, and collaborate on tasks, documents, and projects. This Privacy Policy applies to all services, features, and content offered through the RahaTask platform and website. By using RahaTask, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.

02 Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information when you use RahaTask:

Personal Information

• Full name and username
• Email address
• Phone number (optional)
• Gender (optional)
• Profile avatar image
• Account password — stored as a secure cryptographic hash, never in plain text
• Social media links you choose to add (Facebook, Instagram, X / Twitter)

Workspace and Activity Data

• Workspace name, settings, brand color, and configuration
• Spaces, folders, lists, and tasks you create
• Documents, wiki pages, and their written content
• Comments, replies, file attachments, and task checklists
• Team names, descriptions, member assignments, and roles
• Task status changes, priorities, due dates, and full activity history

Authentication Data (OAuth / Social Login)

If you sign in using a third-party OAuth provider (such as Google), we receive your name, email address, and a provider access token from that service. We do not receive or store your OAuth provider password. The data received is governed by that provider's privacy policy.

Billing and Subscription Data

• Subscription plan type, status, and billing cycle
• Payment method details are processed exclusively by Stripe — we do not store your full card number, CVV, or expiry date; only a Stripe customer ID is retained to manage your subscription
• Invoice history and transaction records

Technical Data (Automatically Collected)

• IP address and approximate geographic location (country / city level)
• Browser type, version, and operating system
• Device information and session identifiers
• Pages visited, features used, and interaction logs
• Cookies and local storage identifiers essential to platform operation

03 How We Use Your Data

We use the information we collect solely for the following purposes:

• To provide, operate, and maintain the RahaTask platform
• To authenticate you and protect your account from unauthorized access
• To send service-related communications: email verification, password resets, team invitations, and in-platform notifications
• To process subscription payments and manage your billing relationship
• To improve platform features, diagnose technical issues, and understand usage patterns
• To respond to your support requests and inquiries
• To enforce our Terms of Service and protect against fraud and abuse
• To comply with applicable legal and regulatory obligations

04 Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties — ever. We share data only in these strictly limited circumstances:

• Stripe — We share billing information with Stripe to process subscription payments. Stripe's own privacy policy governs their use of this data.
• Email providers — We use transactional email services to deliver account verification, password reset, and team invitation emails.
• OAuth — If you authenticate via a third-party OAuth provider, limited profile data is exchanged under that provider's privacy policy.
• Legal requirements — We may disclose data if required by law, valid court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of RahaTask, our users, or the public.

05 Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your workspace or close your account, we will permanently delete your personal data within 30 days, except where applicable law requires longer retention. Anonymized, aggregate data that cannot identify you may be retained indefinitely for analytical and product improvement purposes.

06 Your Rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the following rights over your personal data:

• Access — Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Correction — Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
• Deletion — Request permanent deletion of your personal data (the right to be forgotten)

• Objection — Object to certain types of processing, including direct marketing

07 Cookies and Tracking

We use only essential cookies required to operate the platform — covering session management, authentication state, and language preferences. We do not use advertising cookies, behavioral tracking pixels, or third-party analytics that profile you across sites. • Role-based access controls limiting who within RahaTask can view data

09 Children's Privacy

RahaTask is not directed at children under the age of 16 and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you are a parent or legal guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately and we will delete it without delay.

We may update this Privacy Policy as our services evolve or legal requirements change. When we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, by sending an email notification to your registered address.
